3749 Barnard Road

Saginaw, MI 48603

SVRC Industries provides apartment-style living for adults with disabilities.

How does it work?

Residents will sign a lease with SVRC. This apartment was designed to help support individuals with disabilities to learn how to live on their own. There are five two-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has two bedrooms that will be single occupancy; there will be two individuals living in each apartment. Each person has their own bedroom but there will be a joint use of the great room, kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. Residents should be okay with having another person sharing the general living space; residents do not determine their roommate.

Who can apply?

Residents must have a documented disability, be between the ages of 18 and 26, and have a regular source of income through employment or disability payments that are documentable. Residents must be able to care for themselves or have support in place to care for their needs.

What is the length of stay?

Residents are allowed to stay at the apartment for up to 18 months.
